Our Definition of Transformation

Transformation creates a shift in perspective. Previously held patterns reorganize into deeper meanings that inform one’s identity and actions in new ways. With transformation an inner knowing is awakened. Trust springs forth. Wisdom infuses our life with purpose and direction.

Our Values

People use the word transformation to try to say too many things to too many people. This confuses and undermines the actualization of the natural human capacity to find the deep, abiding meaning in wisdom and relationship. TLF’s approach to transformation is for those who can grasp internal principles and dynamics, not those who merely rearrange. Founded on years of experience teaching and learning, transformative dynamics can be known and embodied in courses that live by the following values: trust, embodiment, and self-reflection.

Dynamics of the core values:

Trust

  • Trust in oneself, in the relationships among all those learning together, and in the knowledge that will be explored.

  • When trust exists in relationships, the relationship becomes a dynamic force of transformation.

  • Knowing trust, new perspectives arise and old patterns and frameworks transform into new behaviors that unleash the dynamic force of mutually beneficial relationships.

Embodiment

  • We become the living expression of our learning, radiate aliveness and expand to include all whom we touch.  In this way, our inherent wisdom has a social, ethical, and transformative impact.

  • Transformative Dynamics is a culture of embodiment. Every participant in our organization embodies these dynamic values. The structure of our organization exemplifies embodiment.

Self-Reflection

  • Self-knowledge arises from self-reflection. When we reflect upon our attitude, our perspective in the moment, and contemplate it later, we realize our openness and our blocks to learn. We move beyond judgment to discernment, beyond biases and conditioning to curiosity, value and meaning. Wisdom resonates through our wholeness, our very Being. We know who we are; we transform.
