Our Commitment to Affordability
The Transformative Learning Foundation offers quality courses taught by faculty who are experts and practitioners in their field without burdening our students financially. The combined cost of the Certificate Program and the Master’s degree through our alliance with Ubiquity University is approximately 20% less than the cost of a traditional Master’s degree, and the cost of the combined PhD program is approximately 10% less than a traditional PhD (source: Education Data Initiative).

Tuition and Fees
Base Tuition
Total cost of Certificate Program (300 course hours): $11,750
Included in the cost of the Certificate Program are all the advisor costs, TLF administration costs, technology costs, faculty and course costs.
TLF’s financial model is non-traditional. Instead of charging per course or course hours, tuition for the entire Certificate program is a flat fee of $11,750. A flat fee results in less expense for the student.
Additional Fees
If a student does not complete the certificate program within one year of enrollment, an advisor fee will be charged $250 semi-annually until completion of the certificate unless an alternative agreement is arranged.

Financial Aid
Scholarships
Financial Aid and federal loans are not available for the certificate program. Funded by a generous donor, TLF is offering $1,000 scholarships to the first ten Certificate Learners who enroll in TLF’s Certificate Program in Transformative Learning during 2024 AND who fill out this scholarship form.
Payment Plans
Payments can be made in 4 installments:
1st installment $2,937.50 due upon enrollment
2nd installment $2,937.50 due after 75 course hours of completion before enrollment in next courses
3rd installment $2,937.50 due after 150 course hours of completion before enrollment in next courses
4th installment due $2,937.50 before issuing of certificate
A $750 discount on the price of the certificate will be applied if the certificate is paid in full at initial enrollment.
